How does Qualiopi certification support work?

Qualiopi support starts with a mock audit against all the indicators of the French national quality framework. It produces a dated action plan, then an evidence file organized by indicator. Mentivis then prepares your team for the certification body’s audit, and supports it through the surveillance and renewal audits.

After certification

Qualiopi is not a one-off exam: three audits mark the three-year validity of the certificate.

  1. Month 0

    Initial audit

    The auditor checks every indicator. With no open major non-conformity, the certificate is issued for three years.

  2. Between month 14 and 22

    Surveillance audit

    It checks that the practices and evidence presented at the initial audit are still applied.

  3. Before the 3 years end

    Renewal audit

    It covers the whole framework again and opens a new three-year cycle.

Qualiopi: what we are asked most

Short answers to the questions asked before starting.

Decree no. 2026-728 of 1 August 2026 updates the national quality framework from 1 November 2026: the seven criteria stay the same, and the indicators go from 32 to 33. Audits carried out from that date, including surveillance and renewal audits, use the new version. Public communication, subcontracting and risk analysis are the points to review first. Our mock audits and evidence files include the updated framework.

Initial support starts at €2,490 excluding VAT. The final amount depends on your starting point, the size of the organization, the number of categories of actions and your deadline. You receive a costed proposal within 48 hours of a first conversation. The audit is invoiced separately by the certification body.

Allow 4 to 9 weeks between the mock audit and the certification audit, depending on your current practices. The final timing also depends on the certification body’s availability.

Since 1 January 2022, it has been mandatory for providers that want to be funded by public or pooled funds: OPCOs, the CPF, France Travail, regions. An organization can train without it, but its actions can then no longer be funded through these channels.

No. An organization can prepare for its audit on its own. Support saves time, avoids the most common gaps and means you reach the audit with a complete evidence file.

Three years. A surveillance audit takes place between the 14th and 22nd month, then a renewal audit before expiry.

A minor non-conformity must be corrected and will be checked at the next audit. A major non-conformity must be resolved within three months, with evidence. Without correction within that time, the certificate is not issued or may be withdrawn.

It is the audit required when you add a category of actions to your certificate, for example apprenticeship or skills assessment. We prepare it like an initial audit, on the added scope only.

Yes. An apprenticeship centre is assessed on the same criteria, plus indicators specific to apprenticeship. We also support setting up the centre itself.
