Frequently asked questions

Higher education: what we are asked most

Short answers, based on the rules in force.

National degrees fall under the State’s monopoly and accredited institutions. A private school can, however, register its professional qualifications in the RNCP, or its skills certifications in the Répertoire spécifique, with France Compétences.

Qualifications are registered for a maximum of five years. Renewal requires a new application to France Compétences before the registration expires.

Training apprentices requires being a Qualiopi-certified apprenticeship training centre (CFA), or working with a CFA that is. The choice depends on the target volumes and the institution’s capacity to carry out a CFA’s legal missions.

Yes. We support foreign institutions that want to open a school or a programme in France: opening declaration, legal status, qualifications, Qualiopi and launch.

The cost depends on the number of programmes, the certification targeted and whether apprenticeship is opened. You receive a costed proposal within 48 hours of a first conversation.
